Create your first tree
Start from the workspace hub, create a new tree, and give it a clear purpose. Think in terms of one main outcome first, then branch into the skills, milestones, or tasks that support it.
Add and connect nodes
Round skill nodes are best for progression structure. Add them to represent the important parts of the roadmap, then connect parent and child nodes to show dependencies and unlock flow.
- Use a small number of top-level branches first
- Connect prerequisites before adding too much detail
- Use status changes to track what is inactive, in progress, or completed
Refine the layout
Once the structure exists, move nodes into readable clusters. Then add decorative notes or images for context, examples, reminders, or visual framing. This is where the tree becomes easier to understand at a glance.
Save and keep iterating
You can save trees locally and, when signed in, sync them privately to the cloud. From there you can revisit the tree, keep refining it, and eventually publish or template it if you want others to explore it too.
